The Journal of Distance Learning and Open Learning( jdlol): is an open-access journal Published semi-annually; all published articles are available immediately online at no charge from authors or readers. All articles of The Journal of Distance Learning and Open Learning (dlol), which focus on the topics of Distance education, e-learning, blended learning and educational technology are published under the open license CC BY-NC ((Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International)) which allows immediate free access to the work and permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

The editorial board of the journal follows the rules of scientific refereeing followed by scientific journals to determine the validity of the articles and papers submitted to it. Each paper is published after written approval by at least two referees.
