Abstract
This study comes to identify the reality of ergonomics, the availability of ergonomic standards in school libraries, the extent of students' satisfaction with it, standing on the positives, and developing solutions for the negatives in school libraries. That there is a percentage of satisfaction on the part of specialists and students in the school libraries under study on work desks, reading tables, lighting, and ventilation, and there is a percentage of dissatisfaction with electronic computers, chairs, and noise sources in the libraries under study. Specialists and students recommended the necessity of providing school libraries with modern electronic computers and maintaining them periodically, providing comfortable chairs and tables with a scientific and ergonomic design, continuous maintenance of lighting sources, installing soundproof curtains, doors, and windows to eliminate noise, and installing electrical air conditioners to supply ventilation sources.
